WRED - The End of an Era

As many know Red Hot 95.9, WRED went off the air on 8/31/08.

The owners of WRED decided to simulcast Boston Sports Station WEEI on 95.9 beginning on 8/31/08. This news has hit all of us very hard. I spent nearly 8 years at WRED and loved every minute of it. You - the listeners - have become my friends and shown tireless support. For that I will always be grateful to you all. THANK YOU for all your support, love and devotion over the years. WRED will be missed and I will miss you too.
